Cardamom pods or Cardamom is a spice extracted from the seeds of different plants from the Elettaria and Amomum genera and the Zingiberaceae family. Elettaria and Amomum genera are native to suncontinets of India and Indonesia. Due to the health benefits of cardamom, it is used all over the world. Cardamom pods are available in three colors such as green, black, and white. Each color has its flavor, personality, and properties. Green cardamom pods are mostly seen and used variety and are available in all the grocery stores and spice shops. Cardamom pods are spicy that a kind of fruity and menthol flavor. Too much intake turn out the taste to be astringent.
